How Long Will The Shoot Take?
The shoot will take approximately one hour to shoot, if you come prepared.
About Your Cell Phone
Turn off your cell phone during the shoot when you are speaking. It can ruin the shot and distract you. This part of the shoot will only take about 15 minutes, so you won't be out of touch for long.
If You Don't Want to Be On Camera
Well, we certainly aren't going to tie you to a chair and make you do it. We can, if you want, do a video with music only. No voice overs and you won't be on camera. HOWEVER: We strongly suggest you take this opportunity to promote yourself. One of the major benefits of doing a video is that it gives you a chance to enhance your branding. You are selling yourself just as much as you are selling the home. Prepare a script ahead of time and it will all go smoothly. We're there for you and we will make it painless and fun. In the end, you'll be glad you did.
Be Prepared
Have a script, have a script, have a script! Was that too vague? Having a script will make the day go so much better for everyone. The sun will shine brighter and the birds will chirp. Seriously, you only have to memorize a couple of lines which basically are your name, company, phone number, and the address to the home. Everything else you'll be reading from the script off-camera. If you have a script, that part of the shoot usually takes about 15 minutes. Without a script we've seen it take 1 1/2 hours. Not good for anyone. Clouds appear in the sky and birds fall dead from the trees. Besides, if the shoot goes long because you came without a script, you could be charged additional fees, or worse, if the videographer has another shoot to get to, your shoot may have to stop early and be scheduled for another time. So lets keep the birds chirping and the sun shining, come prepared.
Generally speaking, you should have the video up and ready to be seen in about four business day, sometimes even sooner. We know that the point is to get your home sold as fast as possible. We'll always do our best to keep things rolling along.

If you need to cancel or reschedule please give a 24 hour notice, otherwise a charge of $50 will apply.
BE ON TIME - This will allow you and the videographer to meet other time commitments. If you're going to be late you need to call the videographer and let them know. If you are more than 20 minutes late without calling, you will be charged a $100 fee.
If you are unable to make it yourself to the shoot, you can send an assistant or alternative. We can then do the tour as a music only version.
Bad weather isn't a reason to postpone or cancel the shoot. We can use your photos to show the exterior of the home.
